The Mesquite Mine will continue to focus on increasing operational efficiencies in an effort to increase production and reduce costs throughout its 13 year mine life.
Going forward, a focus will be on finding an effective processing method for the sulfide resources that lie beneath the current pits. The sulfide resources have approximately 35% recovery on the leach pad and the company is working to find an economically viable alternative processing method to improve the recoveries of the sulfide ores; potentially a combination of crushing/grinding/gravity separation.
